Dasa Parish (다사 성당) is a parish of the Catholic Archdiocese of Daegu in Dasa-eup, Dalseong-gun, with Saint Paul the Apostle as its patron. History & origins
According to the official records of the Archdiocese of Daegu, Dasa Parish was established on August 26, 2005, with Saint Paul the Apostle as its patron. This establishment marks the point at which the Catholic community of the Dasa area took shape as an independent parish unit.
On August 24, 2025, marking twenty years since its establishment, Auxiliary Bishop John Bosco Chang Shin-ho, the vicar general, presided over a Mass of thanksgiving, during which 136 faithful received Confirmation. In the same year, children of the parish celebrated their First Communion during the principal Sunday Mass with the wider community. These records show how the parish has continued to grow through sacramental life and faith formation across generations.
