In later decades, additional parishes were established and jurisdictions in the Gumi-Seonsan region became more subdivided. The available official and scholarly sources are not sufficient to reconstruct continuously when Bonghan changed jurisdiction or when its buildings were renovated. The current official Archdiocese of Daegu profile, however, lists Bonghan as a mission station of Goa Parish, which was established in 2003. The broad historical continuity from an early rural mission community to a mission station now attached to Goa Parish can therefore be verified.
