About this place
Nosong Mission Station is a Catholic mission station of the Diocese of Daejeon in Yeondong-myeon, Sejong Special Self-Governing City. The Daejeon Diocese mission-station directory provided by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Korea lists “Nosong” at the matching address on Nosongungol-gil. Its basic Catholic identity is that of a mission station rather than an independent parish, a local place where Catholics can gather more closely to their community for prayer and liturgical life.
The wider Sejong area has changed greatly with the development of the administrative city, while local mission stations such as Nosong preserve traces of Catholic communities rooted in smaller local areas. However, the currently available official directory does not sufficiently establish the responsible parish, whether Mass is regularly celebrated there, or when the mission station was founded. It is therefore presented here only within the verified scope: a Catholic mission station in Yeondong-myeon belonging to the Diocese of Daejeon. Visitors should check the latest information from the diocese or responsible parish before attending liturgy or making a visit.
