About this place
Kkottongnae Gapyeong Quasi-Parish is a quasi-parish of the Diocese of Chuncheon that serves the liturgical and faith life of the residential, medical, and welfare community of Gapyeong Kkottongnae. The Catholic Church directory in Korea lists it as Kkottongnae Gapyeong Quasi-Parish, while the diocesan directory also classifies it as a quasi-parish and records the Sisters of Jesus Kkottongnae as the religious community serving there.
Diocesan information shows that Mass is celebrated not only in the main church but also in several Kkottongnae residential and care facilities. This indicates that the quasi-parish’s pastoral life is closely connected with the wider Gapyeong Kkottongnae community rather than being confined to a single church building. It is therefore best understood as the quasi-parish within Kkottongnae that links the liturgical and faith life of residents, religious, volunteers, and other faithful.
