Haengjeong Mission Station is a Catholic mission station in the Yeongdong District of the Diocese of Chuncheon, under the pastoral care of Jumunjin Parish. It is the place where Catholics in Haengjeong-ri, Yeongok-myeon, Gangneung, sustain their communal life of faith. The Diocese of Chuncheon lists it as an official mission station, while the Catholic Church Directory in Korea adds the description “onggi village faith community,” preserving an indication of the locality’s Catholic character.

A mission station serves Catholics who live at some distance from the parish church by providing a place for prayer, Mass, and community life. Haengjeong Mission Station fulfills this role in connection with Jumunjin Parish. Because the national Catholic directory also presents the site among places of Catholic historical interest, it can be understood not only as a local place of worship but also as a space that preserves traces of Catholic faith in the area.
