Cheoljeong Mission Station is a mission station under Seongsan Parish in the Diocese of Chuncheon, where Catholics in Duchon-myeon, Hongcheon, remain connected with their parish through Mass and communal prayer. The diocesan mission-station directory records its establishment in 1957, while Seongsan Parish today cares for Cheoljeong together with the Duchon, Yeongnae, Songjeong, and Naechon mission stations.

History & origins
The official mission-station directory of the Diocese of Chuncheon records Cheoljeong Mission Station as having been established in 1957. Public diocesan sources do not provide a detailed account of its founding process or of its first mission-station building, but they do confirm that a Catholic community existed in the Duchon area from at least the 1950s.
Seongsan Parish, which now has pastoral responsibility for Cheoljeong, was established on August 16, 1976, when a mission station under Hongcheon Parish was elevated to parish status. Today Seongsan cares for several mission stations including Cheoljeong, where Mass continues to be celebrated. The exact date on which Cheoljeong came under Seongsan Parish is not stated in the available public sources, so no transfer date has been assumed.
On March 2–3, 2019, blessing ceremonies were held for five mission stations under Seongsan Parish, and Cheoljeong was among the communities blessed by Bishop Luke Kim Woon-hoe of Chuncheon. The event marked a renewed ecclesial affirmation of the place as Cheoljeong continued its long mission-station tradition within the wider parish and diocesan community.
