The Good Shepherd Sisters

The Sisters of the Good Shepherd site on Seumusoop 2-gil in Chuncheon is listed in the Catholic Directory of Korea as both the congregation’s “Province / Seumusoop Community” and its “Contemplative Community.” Because the provincial structure, an apostolic community, and a contemplative community are registered at the same address, the place is best understood not as an ordinary parish church but as a religious center for consecrated life, prayer, and apostolic work within the Sisters of the Good Shepherd.

The Sisters of the Good Shepherd were founded in 1641 and entered Korea in 1966.
