This place is the Cheongju community of the Daegu Priory of the Missionary Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing. The directory of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Korea clearly lists the community in Sajik-dong, Cheongju, as the “Cheongju branch” of the Daegu Priory. Therefore, although the official institutional name contains “Daegu Priory,” the place represented here is not the priory house in Daegu but a local religious community living and carrying out ministry within the Diocese of Cheongju.
