About this place
The Busan community of the Sister Disciples of the Divine Master is a women’s institute of consecrated life present within the Diocese of Busan. The Guide to the Catholic Church in Korea lists it specifically as the Busan community of the Sister Disciples of the Divine Master, P.D.D.M., and also notes a liturgical center associated with the community. This makes clear that the place is not an ordinary territorial parish church but a religious community linked with a liturgical apostolate.
The congregation’s spirituality is centered on service of the Eucharist, the priesthood, and the liturgy. The Korean Catholic Encyclopedia describes the institute as an apostolic-contemplative congregation whose members serve the Church through Eucharistic adoration and liturgical apostolate. The Busan community is therefore best understood not as a parish jurisdiction but as a community of consecrated women where common religious life, prayer, and service to the Church’s liturgical life are carried out.
