The Andong community of the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres is a religious community of the congregation's Daegu Province located in the Mungyeong area of the Diocese of Andong. The directory of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Korea lists it as the “Daegu Province: Andong Community” and identifies it as being located at the same site as Singi-dong Catholic Church. It is therefore best understood not as an independent parish or a general visitor facility, but as a community in which sisters live their consecrated life within the local Church through common life and prayer.

The mission of the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres is rooted in the practice of charity: responding to God's love by serving people in need.
