Singi-dong Catholic Church is a parish church in the Mungyeong district of the Diocese of Andong, with St. Joseph as its patron saint. The Korean Catholic Directory lists Singi-dong as a current parish of the diocese and records that the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres serve with the parish and that one mission station is under its care. The church is the center where local Catholics celebrate Mass and the sacraments, receive catechesis, and participate in community life, while also serving as a pastoral point of connection for nearby communities in the Mungyeong area.

Singi-dong has a historical background connected with the growth of the local cement industry, but its present identity is not confined to that industrial past. In 2025 the Diocese of Andong celebrated a Mass of thanksgiving for the parish's 60th anniversary and officially recalled the way the community had been sustained by the prayer and service of laypeople, religious, and clergy. The bishop's message presented love, service, sharing, and communion as values for the parish to live anew.
